Moving to Oneonta

It amazing me that my parents moved from Utah and settled in a small town in upstate New York. Oneonta, New York. When they moved to Oneonta, they had two children, and one on the way. They started living in the East as a sort of an adventure. And now, they are in Oneonta to stay. The last time my dad came to visit me in Illinois. He joked that he wanted me to write his personal history. Well for me a blogger. (I have a personal blog that I hardly ever touch any more, and a teaching blog) I thought it would be fun to start writing down their memoried here. This is by all means the roughest of all rough drafts for my dad's personal history. But with all personal histories, it is his history, my mother's history, and our entire family's history. As I was thinking about writing his history, I wanted to start on his years as the Branch President. He was the Branch President in Oneonta for 13 years. That is almost three times the amount that a Bishop serves. So I decided to start there. I'm just excited to start a new project!
